Impact / Re-cover / Molecular Scars by Edan Gorlicki / Inter-Actions
Between 2019 and 2022 Edan Gorlicki creates his Trilogy Series Impact / Re-cover / Molecular Scars. All three productions deal with the topic of individual and collective trauma and are created in collaboration with the Faculty of Therapeutic Sciences. While Impact dives into the epicenter of an unexpected catastrophe, exploring how disasters have a social and personal impact on the body and psyche, the durational performance Re-cover is an attempt at giving space to a physical search for healing. The upcoming production of Molecular Scars will focus on the aspect of inter-generational trauma, researching how traumatic responses are inherited.

‚With Impact the choreographer Edan Gorlicki creates the performance of the hour. Intensive, nightmarish, close to visionary.’
by Antje Landman, tanzweb.org
‚Those images, created by Israeli choreographer Edan Gorlicki, are strong and distinct. (…) They contain a lot of pathos, but the movements are so concentrated, decisive and expressive, that they do convey the content of existentialist distress.’
by Adrienne Braun, die deutsche Bühne
