Cracks in the wall and whispering voices out of nowhere. Wind blows behind the windows and gently strokes the skin - the streak of a crow's wing, softly tapping fingers, sipping and gurgling, fast-moving feet and breathing in my ears, a sudden drop of water - the light goes on ...

Cracks & Whispers is a cross-generational dance and photography project that was created as part of a community residency in Killeagh, Ireland.

Over the period of three weeks, three 10 year old children and a retired lady met in a studio to improvise, write, listen and create. Inspired by the sounds of the forest 'Glenbouwer Wood' and an old attic by Greywood Arts, we wrote, danced and finally performed our own ghost stories.
