unbound bodies
unbound bodies is a program aimed at redefining self-perception in a young generation of performers. The platform allows Charlie to actively shape her own artistic engagement as a dancer, following her personal interests and deep understanding of movement art. Taking her unique performative qualities as a starting point she invites outstanding, progressive choreographers for joint transnational productions. Based on a mutually developed concept and a close collaboration between artists of all participating countries she hands over the artistic lead of the creation process to the invited guest and takes on the role of an interpreter. Leading the production from the performers perspective allows her to challenge existing hierarchies in the Independent Performing Arts while realising own artistic visions.
